God gives us promises, He gives us direction through his word, sometimes He is more specific and tells us to wait for something.
We start strong, believing, praying, worshipping and being anxious about what has been promised to us… But what if that promise didn’t come as you expected? What should we do when circumstances suddenly change in the midst of our moment of hope? What if you were promised something but the external or physical world shows you the opposite? Well… I don’t know if you would like it or not, I don’t, because I am right in the middle of that situation, but there’s exactly when we have to trust the most. Not just because I say so, but because of this simple reason:
Numbers 23 (KJV)
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
He is not your last boyfriend or girlfriend that lied to you, or your mom when she said she would buy the original comic and she brought the original immitation of it (Lol sorry… that has happened to a lot)… God is not a man, he’s not your English teacher that says “Good job guys” and half of the class flunked the test, NO.
HE IS, HE WAS, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN, He hasn’t changed through the years and His promises are truth.
His promises preserve our lives (Psalm 119:50)
Let’s endure… You are not alone here
